Nutritional Therapy

Food therapy in Chinese Medicine

Nutritional therapy in the Chinese Medicine perspective is about when, how, how much, where and what you eat.

Many foods, spices and herbs used in Chinese cooking and also in modern- day North American and European cooking are medicinal herbs as well. To this effect they can be intentionally used to improve health by restoring balance.

Making adjustments to diet  in consultation with a Chinese Medicine practitioner can result in great changes throughout  the physical, emotional and mental bodies. It can adjust imbalances, relieve digestive issues, improve sleep and promote greater energy.

Diet, food,or nutritional, therapy  is often part of the treatment plan for achieving the goals my patients set for themselves as they restore balance in their lives.
